HBO - The Women’s Union of Hoa Binh city recently held an event to kickstart a coordination programme themed "For the Safety of Women and Children” for 2019.

The union chose this
theme for 2019 with such specific contents as intensifying awareness on the
prevention of domestic violence, sexual abuse against women and children, child
marriage and consanguineous marriage, and on malnutrition prevention and on food
safety and hygiene. The work will be stepped up on the union’s information
channels and on means of mass media of Hoa Binh city.
The union’s chapters
will promote the proactive role of women in participating in the settlement of
several social issues related to them to ease negative impact and improve their
living standards.
In recent years, Thung Nai commune on has undergone significant changes in its appearance, landscape, and lives of local residents. Road 435 from Hoa Binh City to Tan Lac district’s Suoi Hoa commune, passing through the Thung Nai commune, has helped attract many tourists to the area.

Thereby, the aim is to turn the market into a place promoting the cultural identity of Muong people in Hoa Binh and the consumption of goods and products of the neighboring communes, meeting the needs of tourists for the local products when travelling to Van Son at weekends.
