A study on behavioral changes in male chauvinism will be conducted
under the project, providing a basis for amending the Law on Gender Equality,
the Law on Domestic Violence Prevention and Control and other policies.
Standards for
gender-based violence prevention will be built alongside various communication
campaigns on policy advocacy and behavioral changes together with models
involving male farmers to stave off domestic violence.
Scientific evidence will
also be gathered to build a bill featuring prostitution issues. Capacity in
building and implementing policies on gender equality, domestic violence
prevention and control and prostitution issues will also be enhanced through
the project.
The MoLISA is expected to
build an appropriate management mechanism for the project and identify the
responsibilities of agencies, project owners and coordinating organizations to
ensure its effectiveness.
