(HBO) - In recent years, the members of the Youth Communist Union and the young people in Van Mai commune (Mai Chau) have been actively working, and they have been enthusiastic in the emulation movements. From the movement "Accompanying with the young people to establish themselves and start a business”, there have been many good and creative ways to do things, and many typical young people's examples in economic development have appeared.


 


 The model of raising wild pigs of Ha Van Tai from Khan hamlet, Van Mai commune (Mai Chau) has been giving an income of 70-80 million VND/year.

Ms. Kha Thu Huong, the Secretary of the Communal Youth Communist Union says: "There are 450 youth in 8n branches in the whole commune. Over the past time, the communal Youth Communist Union has implemented the activities and youth’s participation. They include the Summer Volunteer Campaign, the Youth Month, the Youth in Van Mai Commune has joined hands to build a new rural area... In which, the movement "Accompanying with the young people to establish themselves and start a business” has attracted the participation of a large number of young people. And there have been appeared many typical examples of young people in economic development with good and creative ways, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality, continuing to strengthen and build a stronger and stronger Youth Communist Union”.

Visiting the model of raising wild pigs of Mr. Ha Van Tai from Khan hamlet, a typical ethnic example for the economic development in the area. He has been actively learning, visiting, and cultivating experience, Mr. Tai has boldly borrowed money and built a farm for ráiing wild pigs. There have been over 40 pigs so far, the price and the output are stable, a typical example for young people in the hamlet o learn and follow. He is also an active and elite member, actively participating in emulation movements organized by the Communal Youth Communist Union. Mr. Tai says: "In response to the movement "Accompanying with the young people to establish themselves and start up a business”, with help with loans, the attention of officials from the commune's Youth Communist Union, I have built a model of raising wild pigs, bringing the economic efficiency, the stable output, and it has positively received by the market. The model gives an income of 70 - 80 million VND/year”.

In order to support the members of the Youth Communist Union to start a business, the Communal Youth Communist Union has promoted propaganda and actively implemented the State’s preferential policies, especially the capital supporting the youth to start-up through the Bank of Social Policy. Many young people have been supported with loans to solve the employment problem and to build the models for economic development. In addition, they have been coordinating to organize the training courses on techniques for caring crops, raising pigs and Dam Xanh fish, the job orientation, supporting the youth with difficult circustances. Thereby, there have appeared many examples of young people who have been good in economic work, rising to get rich righteously in the locality. They are Kha Van Hung, Kha Van Truong (Nghe village), Ha Cong Binh (Cum village)...

Along with the movement of economic development, self-employment and career development, the Communal Youth Communist Union continues to carry out the volunteer activities for the community life. Carrying out the movement "The Youth in Van Mai commune joining hands to build a new countryside”, the communal Youth Communist Union has coordinated to dredge canals, clear bushes, collect garbage at inter-commune roads, plant trees to cover the hills and forests, plant flowers along the alleys of the hamlet, creating the beautiful landscapes. Accompanying with the vonlunteer organizations to visit and give gifts to the families under the prefferential policies and people in difficult circumstances. They have giving scholarships and books to the poor students overcoming difficulties. They have been propagandizing about wearing masks in crowding places, washing hands with disinfecting water to prevent and control Covid-19 epidemics. At the same time, they have launched a fundraiser to support the people in the Central region affected by flood and storms, and the find for Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control in the area. They have also been encouraging the young people to enlist in the army, actively play sports, improve their education, participate in maintaining the security and safety in the area.

Through the movement "Accompanying the youth to establish themselves and start up a business”, the impulse in the economic development has created an exciting atmosphere, demonstrating the enthusiasm of the youth, the desire to build the homeland richer and richer. Up to now, the per capita income of the whole commune has reached 33.4 million VND/year. The communal Youth Communist Union has received many certificates of merit from Mai Chau District's Youth Communist Union for its outstanding achievements in union work and the youth movement.
