(HBO) At about 2.30 a.m on December 6th, 2017, at Km 123+700 on the Highway 6, in Vang village, Mai Chau town, the Board of drug crime investigation in the Police Department collaborated with Traffic Police Department, Mai Chau Town Police and other functional Departments of the provincial Police while on duty caught the object Van Phu Thuan, born in 1970, residing in Son Qua 4 Village, Luong Phong commune, Hiep Hoa district, Bac Giang province when he was illegally transporting 40 small green pockets with 7,938 tablets of generic drugs inside ( the total weight of 781,59 grams) which was stamped in his motorbike under the license plate of 88S3-5965.

At the police office, the criminal confessed that he
had bought the amount of drugs from an unknown man who comes from Son La
province and made friends with him while being hired in Ha Noi in October of
2017. They contacted each other via telephone and arranged a transaction at the
Milestone marked "Son La 122 km”. Thuan gave 120 million VND to that man and
got the drugs. While he was on the way back to his home, he was arrested with
the drugs.
A present, the incident is being continuously
investigated by the functional offices.
