In recent years, the education and training sector in Cao Phong district, Hoa Binh province, has actively integrated its tasks with the promotion of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, ethics, and style. This approach has contributed significantly to improving the overall quality of education across the district.

In the provincial competition for excellent secondary students
in the 2024–2025 school year, Cao Phong district earned four first prizes, 12
second prizes, 13 third prizes, and 28 consolation ones, 13 more awards than
the previous year.
Chemistry stood out as the top-performing subject with two first
prizes, five second prizes, four third prizes, and four consolation prizes –
the best-ever result. This achievement was largely attributable to Bui Thi
Phuong, a chemistry teacher at the Tay Phong Primary and Secondary School.
Taking inspiration from President Ho Chi Minh’s values of
self-reliance and lifelong learning, Phuong has applied creative teaching
methods to ignite students’ passion for chemistry. Her 2024 initiative,
"Explaining real-life phenomena to inspire 9th graders in chemistry”, received
district-level recognition for its practical impact.
The education sector in Cao Phong district has continued to
embed President Ho Chi Minh’s teachings through campaigns like "Good Teaching –
Good Learning” and "Each Teacher is a Model of Ethics, Self-learning and
Creativity”. As a result, numerous meaningful and practical activities have
been carried out, and many role models recognised.

responsibility and discipline.
By implementing national directives on the
issue and promoting emulation movements, the district has achieved impressive
results. In particular, in the 2023–2024 academic year, over 98% of students
advanced to the next grades, and dozens of students and teachers received
provincial awards.
Throughout his revolutionary life, Uncle Ho visited Hoa Binh province four times. He also sent dozens of letters, telegrams, greeting cards, and heartfelt messages to local officials, Party members, and people of all ethnic groups, urging them to remain united, support one another, strive for progress, and actively engage in both production and resistance efforts to build a prosperous homeland.
To unlock the full potential of its forest resources, the standing board of the provincial Party Committee on July 30, 2020 issued a Resolution on the sustainable development of production forests through 2025, with a vision toward 2030.
The Hoa Binh provincial museum on May 16 opened a thematic exhibition "Under the flag of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam" with more than 200 documents, images and objects featuring the glorious 95-year journey of the Party.
Hoa Binh police are collecting public feedback on amendments to the 2013 Constitution via the national identification app VNeID. This innovative approach marks a giant leap towards modernising grassroots democracy and enhancing transparency in public consultation.
Nguyen Phi Long, alternate Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh Party Committee, on May 14 chaired a meeting of the provincial steering committee for its programme to eliminate makeshift and dilapidated housing for the poor. The Steering Committee for Sci-tech Development, Innovation, Digital Transformation, and Project 06 of Hoa Binh province held a conference on May 12 to review the 2024 results of the Public Administration Reform (PAR) Index, Citizen Satisfaction Index, and Provincial Governance and Public Administration Performance Index (PAPI). The meeting was chaired by Bui Duc Hinh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee.
