After the time of hibernation in winter has passed, the Mai Anh Dao (Prunus Cesacoides) cherry blossoms are brightening Da Lat city. Many streets in the city, as well as the grounds of numerous old buildings, are illuminated with the pink colour of the flowers.

In recent years, thousands of Mai Anh Dao trees have been relocated around Xuan Huong Lake and many other roads in the city, gradually creating a charming "Mai Anh Dao space”.

 


The pink colour of this flower has stirred amazement and passion in many travelers.

 




In the spring, Mai Anh Dao blooms throughout the streets.

 

From inner streets of Tran Hung Dao, Hung Vuong, Le Dai Hanh, Ho Tung Mau and around the Xuan Huong Lake, to suburb area such as Trai Mat, Xuan Tho, Xuan Truong and the roads around Tuyen Lam Lake's national tourist area, visitors can enjoy the beauty of the five-petaled pink flower.

 

It can be said that Mai Anh Dao cherry blossom is the "specialty" of the Da Lat city in the spring.
