(HBO) – Residents in the northern port city of Hai Phong learnt about cultural heritage and traditional cuisine of the Muong ethnic group in Hoa Binh province through an exhibition held earlier this month at the Hai Phong Museum.
(HBO) - On May 10, in Hai Phong city, Hai Phong Museum in collaboration with Hoa Binh Provincial Museum held the opening of the thematic exhibition named "Typical Cultural Heritage of Muong ethnic group in Hoa Binh province”. Thí activity is in a series of the activities to celebrate the 68th anniversary of the liberation of Hai Phong (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 2023) and the Hai Phong Red Phoenix Flower Festival in 2023.

(HBO) – According to historical records, the Cold Food Festival of China entered Vietnam during the Ly Dynasty (1009 - 1225), but it has been adapted to the traditions, customs, and beliefs of each locality and ethnic group and called Thanh minh Festival. "Thanh minh” is the fifth of the 24 solar terms. "Thanh” means purity while "minh” brightness. On this occasion, people often visit, clean, and repair graves of their clans and give offerings to express gratitude to ancestors.

The movement "all people unite to build a cultural life” has been agreed and responded by the officials and the people, becoming a regular job in the residential areas.
(HBO) - On April 14, Hoa Binh College of Economics and Technology, Hoa Binh College of Engineering and Technology cooperated with the Provincial Youth Union to organize Laos Bunpimay Traditional New Year for the international students and students studying at these two schools. For the Muong people in Hoa Binh, gongs are not only a kind of traditional musical instrument, but also a "sacred treasure", a spiritual story told by 12 national tones and an intangible cultural heritage with a strong vitality as they are preserved by the community.

(HBO) - The house-cooling ceremony is one of the traditional spiritual and cultural rituals of the Muong people in Hoa Binh province. Its purpose is to pray for good crops, good health, good luck, and repel bad luck and risks. Therefore, most families in the Muong community organise the ritual at the beginning of the year to pray for peace. By cutting down unsound customs, the house-cooling ceremony has become a typical cultural feature and an indispensable activity in many Muong families every spring.

(HBO) - On March 15, the People's Committee of Kim Boi District held a ceremony to receive the certificate of ranking the historical - cultural relic at the provincial level of Ne Temple in Xuan Thuy commune. This is one of the eight monuments that have been ranked out of a total of 29 historical and cultural relics of the district that have been inventoried.
(HBO) – The Ke Pagoda festival in Phu Vinh commune, Tan Lac district is held on the 16th day of the second lunar month every year. Previously, the festival was used to be small but since 2017, it has taken place at the communal level to meet people’s religious and entertainment needs.
(HBO) – The Muong Cultural Heritage Museum, located in Thai Binh ward of Hoa Binh city (Hoa Binh province), is managed by Meritorious Artisan Bui Thanh Binh. Covering more than 4,000 sq.m., it features six main stilt houses displaying nearly 6,000 objects arranged according to different periods of the Muong ethnic group’s culture. The museum has become an attractive destination for Vietnamese and foreign visitors over the past years.

(HBO) - On March 13, in Hoa Binh province, the emulation cluster of 7 provinces in the Northern Midlands and Mountains held a conference to deploy the movement of patriotic emulation and signed an emulation contract in 2023. There was the attendance of the leaders from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the provinces in the emulation cluster, including Thai Nguyen, Hoa Binh, Bac Giang, Yen Bai, Tuyen Quang, Phu Tho and Bac Kan.
