(HBO) – People in Binh Tan hamlet, Nam Thuong commune, Kim Boi district, Hoa Binh province, have joined hands to build concrete roads which are 3.5 – 5m wide, as part of the activities to implement the Party and State’s guidelines on rural transport development. Following the directions of local authorities, people in the hamlet have contributed over 3,000 square metres of land and 3,000 working days to concretise more than 70 percent of rural roads.
(HBO) – With the strong determination of the whole political system and the high consensus of the people, the building of new-style rural areas in Lac Thuy district, Hoa Binh province, has seen significant changes. The majority of officials and locals have become more aware of the matter and contributed to developing rural areas in many creative ways. So far, eight communes in the district have been recognised as new rural areas, including three particularly disadvantaged ones - Lien Hoa, Phu Thanh and Yen Bong. Lac Thuy is striving to become new-style rural area by 2020.
(HBO) – After five years of implementing Resolution 14-NQ-HU issued on April 16, 2013 of Lac Thuy district on investment attraction in the 2013-2018 period, the locality’s economic structure has been transformed towards lower ratio of agriculture and higher ratio of service sector, helping increase budget collection, create more jobs and improve the living conditions of locals.

(HBO) - The collective trademark recognition of Tan Lac red grapefruit received in late November 2017 has affirmed the quality of a specialty in Muong Bi and efforts of Tan Lac district’s authorities and farmers.
(HBO) - According to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, in order to form a concentrated production area, the People's Committee of the province has reviewed, adjusted and supplemented the Plan for the citrus development to 12,145 ha by 2020 with the orientation of 17,531 ha to 2025, in which 70% of citrus production area of the planned area have ensured the safety standards. Most of the areas are produced and certified to meet VietGAP standards.
